Nissan has expanded the content of the lower two trim levels. The base Leaf now comes standard with last year’s portable charging cable, while the Leaf SV Plus now comes with the previously optional SV Technology Pack.
Compared to the Model 3 Ford Mustang Mach-E and Hyundai Ioniq 5 the Leaf is a bit dated. Its maximum range is also subpar compared to those models. But the Leaf still makes a lot of sense for an affordable little city express.

The Leaf’s cargo volume is perfect for the EV class. You’ll find 23.6 cubic feet of space when the second-row seats are up and 30 cubic feet when the rears are folded. The rear seats don’t fully fold.
