The 2023 CR-V Honda is a versatile and reliable SUV that is perfect for families or anyone who needs a little extra space. The CR-V has plenty of room for passengers and cargo, and it comes standard with a variety of features that make it a great choice for anyone looking for a new SUV.
Honda Teases Pics of New 2023 CR-V
Honda is teasing the all-new 2023 CR-V with some new photos that show some new hints about what the midsize crossover will look like. The only thing Honda said in the press release is that the CR-V will have a new, more advanced hybrid powertrain to provide a “sportier driving experience and more ability. “The new 2023 CR-V has a lot of going for it anyway because it’s Honda’s best-selling car.
What do we know about the new 2023 CR-V?
One thing we certainly do know is that Honda will unveil the new CR-V later this summer. From the pictures, we can clearly see some hints of the new design. The CR-V will have LED headlights and taillights.
It will have a black grille that looks more like a Q5 from Audi than Honda. It also has shoulders more like a Volvo SUV at the rear, as well as an updated hybrid badge that’s a giveaway to the new hybrid powertrain. Furthermore, it’s also expected to be larger and come with a convenient third row.
Honda says the styling is tougher. Possibly, but we can’t yet see where it stands on the road. But crossover SUVs like the original CR-V are popular because they combine the rugged looks of their truck ancestors with the comfort and capability of a tall van.
But like we said, a lot is riding on this update is great.
The 2022 CR-V is great, but the competition is getting tougher
The new for 2023 Honda CRV
There’s no question that the 2022 CR-V is a popular crossover. But with the Hyundai Kona Mazda CX-30 and even the Ford Bronco Sport showing up with more sophisticated interiors better hybrid powertrains and all-wheel drive and of course more modern styling, the CR-V started to slip.
Contemporary is When it was released in 2016 as a 2017 model, it was more evolutionary than revolutionary.
The CR-V starts at about $27,000 which is a good deal, but the base model doesn’t have the goodies you want. For the same or less money, you can get a Hyundai Tucson with a gasoline-hybrid engine and a better interior.
Honda’s mild hybrid starts at $32,010 in drivetrain.
The five-seat crossover space is packed with good, if not great, and the CR-V has to get a major upgrade to compete with the new Pilot.
The new 2023 CR-V will join the new 2023 Honda HR-V
The new 2023 Honda CR-V won’t be the only new crossover on the Honda lot. Honda is also upgrading the CR-V’s little brother, the HR-V with a new interior and larger cargo room. The last CR-V received a high rating from Consumer Reports, and it has always been known for its efficient hybrid power system.
The crossover has an EPA-estimated 38 MPG combined, and reviewers love its smoothness if not its lack of speed.
